We meet fabulous friends here at Johanna Elizabeth in Havant and no two days are the same…just the way we like it. Recently, we met Debbie who arrived at our studio for her boudoir photoshoot. We loved her profession and the edge she could bring to the planned portraits. Such a joy!

Debbie C's Boudoir Photoshoot

“I’d heard lots of amazing things about Johanna Elizabeth boudoir photoshoots, and eventually plucked up the courage to find out more for myself. From day one Jo and the team were amazing and really made me feel at ease! They talked me through the whole process, and got me into Pinterest to put together my “ideas board” – which is sooo much fun by the way! – and soon I was ready to go.

For someone who works in entertainment, I’ve always had quite low self-esteem, and was slightly nervous of the photo-shoot; worrying it would highlight all my wobbly bits, but I could not have been more wrong!

I was instantly put at ease on the day by the fantastic photographer and Miriam – the most amazing makeup artist! – and I felt so glamorous with my hair and makeup that when it was all over it felt like months waiting for the reveal session :o)

On the reveal day I brought my partner with me, and we saw the finished results. We were both speechless! The photos were utterly amazing, and I couldn’t believe how fantastic they looked! Not a wobbly bit in sight! The lighting, editing, hair, makeup, everything was just perfect and I was so happy with the results (so was Jamie..)

During the session; I’d decided on a few vintage pin-up style shots, including Jamie’s guitar and my vintage mic. I was utterly amazed at the quality of the shots – AND they weren’t too racy to be used for promo shots either! Look out Burlesque entertainment world – I’m a’coming!

If anyone is thinking about doing something like this, then I say don’t THINK, just DO – you won’t regret it, and it’s something you’ll be able to look back on when you’re having a bad hair day, and remind yourself that yes – YOU ARE GORGEOUS!

Thanks again Jo and the whole team – it was an amazing experience that I’ll never forget”

Love Debbie
