As 2017 came to an end, I realised that I really wanted to collect an inspirational series of stories to start 2018 off to a positive BANG!
Every week at Johanna Elizabeth, I am touched at the emotional stories…many of which can be seen in my portrait page reviews and our boudoir page reviews!
So, the ‘Love You Challenge’ was created.
I find out why these unique people, applied and how their journey with us…really made a difference.
Only intended to last a few weeks, I got such a phenomenal response… that I am still shooting these amazing men and women!
So, first I want to introduce our first lady… Mel, who found a new confidence.
What an honour!
“My confidence was at an all time low and I was in constant pain with osteoarthritis in my knees, back, neck, hands and feet.
I felt so unattractive and avoided the camera at every opportunity.
The photo shoot removed me from my comfort zone and the reveal made me cry as it helped me to see myself as those who love me do.
Sent a picture to my mum and dad in a frame and when my mum rang me she thanked me for the lovely frame just need a nice pic to go into it ….. she didn’t recognise me! When I told her the photo was in the frame she burst into tears and said how beautiful I was. Thank you so much for making me realise there is a beautiful woman in me and many thanks to the lovely ladies who made me feel so special and provided me with a bit more confidence in facing the world!”
