Here at Johanna Elizabeth, for many years we’ve supported charities that are important to us and our clients.
We’ve fundraised for local and national causes. These have included the Portsmouth Hospitals Thank You Appeal and Remember My Baby.
Now, in 2022, we’re proud to announce that we’ll be supporting the fantastic charity, Women’s Aid.

New charity support effort launched
Women’s Aid is an incredible charity that provides life-saving services to victims of domestic abuse. It’s working to end domestic abuse against women and children.
It’s a federation of over 170 organisations that provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across the country.
Rather shockingly, 1.6 million women experienced abuse in the year ending March 2019. Three women a fortnight are killed by their male partner or former partner.
Also, according to the Home Office, domestic abuse costs society around £66bn per year. (Source: Women’s Aid).
Fundraising at Johanna Elizabeth
To raise much-needed funds, we will provide our luxury photoshoot experience (£250) and donate £100 of the shoot fee straight to the charity.
We hope to raise a significant sum for the charity as a result.
A few words from Jo…
“Sadly, since the start of the pandemic, cases of domestic violence have increased and demand for support services is high.
We all probably know someone who has been affected by domestic abuse so we feel strongly that we should do what we can to help.
Since our entire business is centred on women – and our photography helps to empower women – we wanted to support a charity with a similar ethos.
By fundraising for Women’s Aid, we hope that we can play a small part in helping to protect current and future victims of domestic abuse.”
