The Photography Show and The Video Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham, is a huge event for the photography industry. It’s a must-attend event for all photography pros and those passionate about photography and video.
Because of lockdown and Covid-restrictions, the event has been held virtually for the past couple of years. So, it’s great that the show is finally back to its original format this coming weekend!
Photography critiques at The Photography Show
This year, I’m looking forward to attending The Photography Show even more than usual as it’s been so long since the last one.
I’ll be meeting up with colleagues from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and helping out on their exhibition stand.
On Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th and Monday 19th September, I’ll be giving image critiques – providing constructive feedback to those photographers who have requested a professional review of their work.
I really enjoy these sessions. It’s always fun talking about photography and helping other photographers who are either hobbyists or emerging professionals.
Photography friends and peers
I also can’t wait to get together at The Photography Show with friends and peers in the industry. It’s brilliant fun when we all meet up – there’s literally never a dull moment!
Due to lockdown, we’ve not been able to meet up in person for ages, so we’ll have even more to catch up on this year! I can’t wait to see everyone!
Follow along on social media
I’ll be sharing behind the scenes photos and videos so you can see what I’m up to while I’m at The Photography Show.
