Creating something that can spark change in the way we see ourselves, and how the next generation sees themselves too.

The Heart Behind The Project

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday.
My body has grown and birthed two beautiful daughters, fought its battles, and carried me through every chapter of my life.
I’m proud of it… even though I don’t always love it.

A recent weight loss taught me something important – the real struggle isn’t in the mirror, it’s in our minds.
I see that in so many of the women who walk through my studio doors.

As a mother, I work hard to protect my daughters from the pressures society places on women’s bodies. But it’s not easy, is it? Perhaps, through this work, I can extend that protection beyond my family, helping women see themselves differently and inspiring the next generation to do the same.

The statistics are sobering:
57% of girls aged 7–10 are happy with their bodies. By age 16, that number drops to just 16%. And as women, many of us feel even more invisible as we grow older.

In my Hampshire studio, I’ve seen what happens when a woman starts to see herself through a kinder lens. A photoshoot can be the spark (sometimes subtle, sometimes powerful) that begins to change her story.

That’s why I created the Self Love Skin Project.
One frame at a time, we can rewrite how we see ourselves.

In my cosy, private Hampshire studio, it’s just you and me.
Music playing, cuppa in hand, a little guided posing, and plenty of laughs.
I look at you through a creative journey, capturing the beauty that’s already there.

You’ll see images that make you say: “I love you” to your body – every time you see them.
