So, 2022 is here! We hope you had a fabulous Christmas break!
For our first article of the New Year, we thought we’d let you know about some of the exciting things that we have planned, and what’s in store for the team.
Behind the scenes news
January can be a slow month in the photography world, but we’re pleased to report that, for us, there’s plenty going on. We’re pretty much fully booked – apart from a couple of covid postponements. Rest assured, we’re still allowing guidelines.
So looking forward to meeting our new clients coming in for shoots. They’re ready to start the year with a bang – good on them! We also have a couple of big events coming up.
Imaging USA
Coming up first for Jo is a scheduled trip to Imaging USA. It’s a prestigious photography conference over in Washington D.C.
She’s hoping to source some amazing new art products for you ladies while she’s there. Plus, she’s looking forward to shooting a destination photoshoot. So, watch this space for the results of that in a few weeks time!
With such dreamy locations in-store, to say we’re feeling excited would be an understatement!
The Societies of Photographers 2022 Photo Convention
Jo is also looking forward to the upcoming annual Convention hosted by The Societies of Photographers. This one’s closer to home and will be held in Hammersmith in London.
She’s incredibly honoured to have been invited back to speak at the event again this year. It’s the largest photographic convention and trade show in Europe and is attended by photographers from the UK and beyond.
On March 16th, Jo will be hosting a four-hour workshop about boudoir photography. Then, the following day, on 17th March, she’ll be speaking about women-focused photography.

British Institute of Professional Photography
Jo also officially begins her tenure as a Director on the Board at the British Institute of Professional Photography, so 2022 is certainly looking to be a fun challenge! She can’t wait!
