What a bonkers start to 2024. It’s only the end of March and I’ve got whiplash and trauma from witnessing the business landscape screech and morph in front of my eyes!

I swear I have some kind of PTSD from the first weeks, after a nicely timed(?) META ads ban only 3 days before Christmas.
Let’s just say that killed Christmas in a storm of angst, although I was pretty confident that we’d get it all back.

After all, it had been done by the AI. Once a human saw it, we’d be fine? Right?

Here’s the thing.
Before covid, we enjoyed a huge number of loved referrals, word of mouth was strong.
Since lockdowns, we’ve all moved online really.

So we changed. The way we could tell YOU about us, was through carefully created social media campaigns.
I even trained to execute them at the top level, ad agency style! Thank you to THIS team at Lilac James – check them out.

Unstoppable.

Then we suddenly weren’t unstoppable.
Like a tap turned off.
Meta had advised us to do the very thing that their AI suddenly decided was a red flag/rule breaker. Scandalous or what?

So what does this mean for me, for you, for empowerment photography, my calling?

I carry on!
However, with a bit of a pivot. A need to diversify a little.

In these quieter weeks, I had been asked by some clients to consider some new offerings.
I hesitated for a split second… it still had to be empowering right?

First up…

‘Business & Branding’

I know so much when it comes to women, women in business and empowering women in business.
Colour palettes, branding, posing, representing yourself.
I’m ALL over that.

I’m told I was the natural person to ask.
What an honour. 15 years in business, counts for A LOT.

So, now you’re in the loop for 2024. Anyone else had a bizarre one so far?

Please do have a trawl through the newly rejigged website. Hit the menu above!
Share this blog or any social posts you see.
(Our accounts are live, it’s just the ads that are shut)

Our reach is now cut to the quick and I’m relying on my JE army to see this through, plus this pivot and new marketing ways.
Old school even.

If you don’t know a woman needing a boudoir shoot, bridal or beauty shoot… then you’ll know a woman in business.

As always, booking shoots and pleasing you is never a struggle, I just need to fill the gap that Meta has left behind!
It’s a brave new world out there.

Fill out any of the forms to initiate a chin wag with me.
What can we cook up together? Let’s get you that boost.
